From the moment I consulted with Melanie about my daughter Beth's upcoming wedding, she was able to put me at ease. Assuring us that with proper planning and coiirdinating, Beth's wedding day would be one of pure enjoyment for our entire family, rather than stress and frenzy as often portrayed in the movies.
I can honestly say that in the six months of preparation for our 'big event', I never once felt overwhelmed or stressed-out, and all credit goes to Melanie's professional and caring way as a planner.
During our initial consultation we were able to develope a realistic budget and then plan accordingly. It was comforting for Beth and I to have the well developed list and timelines that Melanie had Prepared for us as we were able to divide up the responsibilities, and enlist help of friends and faily with ample time to accomplsih everything. Of course, depending on the level of services you require from Melanie, she will take care of numerous tasks for you, leaving you free to do all the 'fun stuff'!
By following the recomended timelines, everything went so smoothly, from the purchase of the wedding gown along with fittings, etc., to invitations being ready on time, photographer acquired, church and facilities reserved, flowers ordered, cakes baked ... not one detail was left unattended.
Even distance is no obstacle for Melanie. Her home is more than 100 miles from where Beth's wedding would be, but many details were easily handled by phone and e-mail.
In the interest of not being lengthy, let me tell you the end-result, the wedding day is what this service is all about, and U can't imagine attempting to do all this without "Heart's Desire". Beth truly had her "Dream Wedding" - her "Heart't Desire" and thanks to Melanie's expertise in this field, we had a stress-free, joyful day that our family will cherish for all time.
