Dear Melanie,
Jessica and I just wanted to thank you again for all you did to make her wedding day THE BEST ONE EVER! It truly was THE PERFECT wedding and we couldn’t have enjoyed it without your invaluable assistance!
Jess and I wanted to do the wedding preparations and activities on our own. But you kept Jess and I on track through the course of these last few months, reminding us what to ask and when to do certain things so we wouldn’t be stressed down to the wire. You were so helpful when we met with all the vendors. You knew things to ask we wouldn’t have thought we’d need to know!
The day of the wedding it was so good to have you there, “directing traffic”. I would not have been able to be in the room helping Jessica get ready if I’d had to do those things. You made sure the decorations, flowers and people were in the right place at the right time! I didn’t worry about a thing because you were there handling everything. And then when we realized that after the alteration of her dress the hook and eye were missing, you were right there to sew Jess right into the dress! Thank heavens for that needle and thread in your little bag of tricks!
And then there was the reception…magnificent! The centerpieces, cake…everything was where it needed to be. And again, I didn’t have to do anything but show up and have a good time. You made sure the flow of each event happened in the right time frame and I just got to visit and have fun with our guests. And be “in the moment”! We all truly had a wonderful time!
I just want you to know that if you had not been there that day I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy Jessica’s big day. This is the one day that being the hostess meant NOT having to worry about the small details. I felt a part of the day, not the orchestator and that was just as it should have been. Your professional, friendly yet firm way of getting people to do what needed to be done made this day a day that Jess and I will never forget. It’s a treasure, and so are you!!!
